Best Internet Providers in Ajax, ON (2026)

Oxio is our top pick for internet in Ajax, thanks to its mix of speed, fair pricing, and no-nonsense service.

Their flagship 1000 Mbps plan costs $85 a month and includes unlimited data, a free eero 6 router, and no contract. It runs on Rogers infrastructure in most of Ontario, so coverage is strong even outside major cities.

If you are on a tighter budget, Oxio also offers a 75 Mbps plan for just $50 a month, which is fast enough for most households that stream, browse, and work from home.

In some parts of Ontario where Cogeco operates the local infrastructure, Oxio uses that network instead of Rogers. Since Cogeco actually owns Oxio, customers in those areas can get the 1000 Mbps plan for only $55 a month, which is one of the best internet deals in the country.

New customers who sign up using a referral link can usually get the first month free.

TekSavvy is one of the most well-known independent internet providers in Ontario. Based in Chatham, they offer a mix of cable and DSL plans across the province using Rogers and Bell infrastructure, depending on the region. They are also building out their own fibre network in select areas, though availability is still limited.

For budget-conscious users, TekSavvy has some of the most affordable cable plans in Ontario. Their 100 Mbps plan is just $35.95 a month, and even their 1000 Mbps plan is competitively priced at $68.95 a month. All plans include unlimited data and come with no contracts.

TekSavvy is Canadian-owned, has a strong track record, and is known for being upfront and customer-focused. If you are looking for a reliable alternative to the big telecom brands without overpaying, TekSavvy is a great option.

Virgin Mobile is owned by Bell and offers internet plans that run on Bell’s high-speed fibre and DSL networks. That means you’re getting the same infrastructure and performance as Bell, but often at a lower monthly price.

Availability is strongest in cities and larger towns across Ontario. In many areas, Virgin’s plans are nearly identical to Bell’s in terms of speed and reliability, but with simpler pricing and fewer upsells. Plans usually start around $50 to $60 a month, with speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 300 Mbps or more depending on your address.

If Bell is available at your location, there’s a good chance Virgin is too. It’s a good option for anyone who wants Bell-level performance without the premium price tag.

EBOX is a Quebec-based internet provider that now serves much of Ontario. They are owned by Bell, which means they use Bell’s fibre and ADSL infrastructure to deliver service. In areas where Bell fibre is available, EBOX offers excellent value with high speeds at lower prices than the major brands.

Their 1 Gbps plan costs just $65 a month, which is one of the best fibre deals in Ontario. For lighter users, the 150 Mbps plan is only $45 a month. They also offer ADSL plans in areas where fibre or cable isn’t yet available.

EBOX is known for straightforward pricing, unlimited data, and a clean sign-up process with no contract required. If you want Bell-level speeds without paying Bell prices, EBOX is worth considering.
